City of Aurora Councilman Steve Sundberg

Based in Colorado, Steve Sundberg has served as a councilman with the City of Aurora since 2021. As an elected representative, he shapes city policy, contributes to important financial decisions, and addresses the needs and concerns of his constituents. Steve Sundberg works closely with other members of the council, the city’s staff, and the community to create and execute impactful legislation. Steve Sundberg has committed himself to supporting the City of Aurora’s various public safety initiatives. He has also worked extensively with shelters to provide unhoused individuals and families with case management services and other community protections. He has earned several accolades throughout his career, including a Chamber Leadership Award and Small Business of the Year honors from the Aurora Chamber of Commerce.

After receiving his degree in speech communication from Colorado State University, Steve Sundberg completed a master's in organizational management at the University of Phoenix. Apart from his work and activities with professional organizations such as the Colorado Restaurant Association, he contributes to philanthropic efforts benefiting individuals experiencing homelessness and local dog rescues. He enjoys staying active through hiking.
